Jennifer Price

Originally from Southern California, I moved out to Austin, TX after graduating from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Math & Economics. I worked for a successful local restaurant chain for almost 10 years, here in Austin, working my way from Server -> Bartender -> Manager -> Asst General Manager -> General Manager -> the Financial Director/Controller position. In that time I gained valuable knowledge in fostering positive professional relationships and always gave the customers, vendors and partners an exceptional experience with our company. I personally oversaw every aspect of the accounting department including, accounting software, bookkeeping systems and all internal controls administratively and operationally. It was my responsibility to maintain accuracy at all levels of AP, AR, Payroll (for 400+ employees), General Ledger, Reconciliations, Financial Reporting, Accounting Policies and Procedures and Internal Controls at the restaurant and administrative levels. After graduating from California State University at Chico with a degree in Business Management, I moved to Austin to start a career. Growing up working in the service industry, I sought a career doing just that, but also wanted to put my Business Management degree to use. I started my bookkeeping career by working at a local restaurant as the Assistant Financial Director of the company, which is when I learned I could combine my two passions. I am skilled and educated in all aspects of business finances from data entry to financial analysis, with emphasis in payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cost analysis, inventory tracking, implementing internal controls, implementing policies and procedures and reconciliations. I understand the importance of knowing where your business stands on a day to day, week to week and month to month basis. It is my goal to provide you with my professional experience and personal touch so that you can always be aware of where you or your company stands.
